Mr. Olu Agunloye has long been relieved of his position as the National Secretary of the Social Democratic Party (SDP).
Furthermore, the judgment of the Federal High Court delivered on 24th June 2026 in Suit No. FHC/ABJ/CS/402/2026: Salawu-Adeniyi Mustapha Olaitan v. Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) & 3 Others conclusively affirmed that Mr. Olu Agunloye is no longer the National Secretary of the SDP.
Accordingly, any document, correspondence, notice, nomination, or other official communication purportedly signed, endorsed, or submitted by Chief Olu Agunloye in the capacity of National Secretary after his removal is null, void, and of no legal effect, in line with the judgment and orders of the Federal High Court.
Members of the party, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), government institutions, security agencies, and the general public are advised to recognize and deal only with duly authorized officers of the Social Democratic Party in accordance with the judgment of the Federal High Court and the party's lawful leadership.
